TULSA, Okla.  — Grilled Veggies with Steamed Grain and Walnut French dressing

This can be a nice strategy to prep meals for the week prematurely. Retailer cooked grains and prepped or cooked veggies within the fridge for as much as every week.

  • Yellow squash, zucchini, portabella mushroom, onions, or any colour bell peppers. Slice or minimize into giant items, then toss with olive oil and a splash of salt and pepper.  Grill on a grill pan or charcoal or fuel grill.  OR broil the veggies within the oven till starting to brown, flip the veggies and brown the opposite aspect. 
  • Steamed intact grain* similar to brown rice, barley, quinoa, oats, and so on.
  • 1 can beans of your alternative similar to: cannellini, navy, Norther, chickpeas, kidney beans, and so on.

To serve, combine collectively veggies, grain, and beans then drizzle with French dressing.
Walnut French dressing

½ cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
2 ounces apple cider vinegar or different vinegar of your alternative
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
1 small shallot, minced or finely chopped
½ cup olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon finely floor black pepper
