This was the primary recipe my mother-in-law ever taught me to make for her darling boy. It is now the favourite of each my sons. It makes essentially the most scrumptious gravy! It is so easy that I nearly really feel responsible taking credit score for a way fantastic it’s … nearly!

FAMILY-FAVORITE SLOW-COOKED POT ROAST

Prepare dinner time: 7 hours; Prep time: 10 minutes

Serves: 4

Components

1 chuck roast (2-4 kilos)

2 can(s) cream of hen soup (10.75 oz. every)

3-6 ounces child carrots

4 ounces sliced mushrooms

2 russet potatoes, minimize into spears (optionally available)

Instructions

1. Place all substances into crockpot. Don’t add water.

2. Prepare dinner on excessive for 5-6 hours or on low for 8 hours. If desired, skim off any fats.

3. If crucial, after eradicating meat and veggies, whisk in a tablespoon of flour to gravy to thicken it.

4. We love this served with mashed potatoes.
