It’s time for my air fryer recipe of the month. With the Labor Day vacation in thoughts, I’m considering that more healthy air-fried Buffalo-style hen wings could be a superb choice. This recipe makes wonderful, crispy wings that you just’d by no means know weren’t deep-fried in oil. It’s a keeper!
Components:
- 2 lbs. hen wings – thawed, if frozen
- 1/2 Tbsp salt
- 1 tsp. floor black pepper
- 1/2 cup sizzling sauce reminiscent of Frank’s RedHot
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- cooking spray
Methodology
- Season the hen wings generously with salt and pepper.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and preheat the fryer to 380 levels F.
- Place the hen wings within the basket (stand some up on finish if wanted to make room) and fry the wings for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, flip the wings over and fry for an additional 10 minutes.
- Flip the air fryer as much as 400 diploma F. and cook dinner the wings for 5-6 extra minutes.
- Because the hen cooks, whisk collectively the new sauce, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder in a big bowl.
