Mom’s Day Carnation Drive

Birthright of Somerset County is once again sponsoring the Mother’s Day Carnation Drive May 6-7. From left are: Makenna and mother Brittany Risch holding Garrett and Ella. All proceeds from this event will remain in Somerset County to provide services and support to pregnant women and their babies. The mission statement is: “It is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every child to be born.“ For carnations contact the Birthright office at 814-445-9300 to place order and make arrangements for pick up or delivery. Orders are due by April 22.

Italian Evening at Grace UMC

Grace United Methodist Church, 320 Felgar Road, Somerset, will host an Italian Night Dinner from 4-7 p.m. April 22. All proceeds will be donated to the Somerset County Mobile Food Bank to help feed our neighbors. Meals are available for take-out or for dine-in, and the menu includes spaghetti, lasagna, vegetable lasagna, homemade clam sauce, and more, along with a variety of homemade desserts. Preparing for the meal are from left: Mike Procop, Kelly Allen, Brad Miller, Glenn "Sauceman" Price and Paige Hartman.

Berlin Toy Prepare Present

Berlin Volunteer Fireplace Division will maintain its spring Toy Prepare Present from 9 a.m. to three p.m. April 23, on the Berlin Neighborhood Constructing.
