Partridge Creek Farms community days shares healthy cooking tips

ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) – Group members in Ishpeming bought a lesson in wholesome cooking Tuesday afternoon. It’s a part of an everyday program at Partridge Creek Farms known as group days.

It’s a weekly sequence the place group members can share their abilities from farming tricks to dancing classes to wholesome recipes. Tuesday, featured an indication and a recipe for an avocado mango salsa. For organizers, it’s about studying and sharing as a group.

“I believe a giant a part of that is simply getting the group collectively, bringing group members in to do these ability shares after which different members to study from it and to fulfill new individuals and this can be a lovely atmosphere to do it in, in a backyard,” stated Emily Bateman, Partridge Creek Farms farm to highschool educator.

Partridge Creek can also be operating the ability of produce program on the Marquette Farmers Market. That market is held Wednesdays from 4-7 p.m. and once more on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
