Welcome to AirFryday, our new common air fryer recipe slot. For the primary version, it needed to be hen. And if it needed to be hen, it occurred to me that one of the simplest ways to kick off needed to be these scrumptious little morsels all hen followers love: the common-or-garden hen thigh.
I’ve beloved hen thighs ever because the seventies, once I’d go over the highway to my pal Ladas Hylen’s home and he or she’d be cooking hen thighs within the oven. Usually, I’d be invited to hitch the desk, and I’ve been a fan of those succulent joys of moreishness ever since.
This recipe is in 4 components (don’t fear, it’s not daunting): two cooks at 180℃ for six minutes every, then 6 minutes at 200℃, plus a last fast crisp-up of the pores and skin and crumb. That’s 21 minutes in complete, so should you make the crumb first and put together the thighs, you’ll be consuming in beneath half an hour.
The primary session has the thighs skin-side down, the subsequent skin-side up, and the third skin-side up after spooning a crumb on prime. If I say they had been totally good, consider me, they had been. What would you like from a hen thigh? Meat that’s tender however not pink on the bone. And crispy, scrumptious pores and skin. A win, on each fronts.
I used cornflake crumbs for the crunchy topping. This can be a nice product; the feel is okay however very crunchy, which is strictly what you need in a crumb.
(Serves 2, perhaps)

Combine the crumbs with the chopped rosemary, spices and seasoning.
Spray the underside of the air fryer basket.

Place the thighs in, skin-side down, with somewhat house between them for air circulate.
Cook dinner for six minutes at 180℃.
Flip and prepare dinner for an additional 6 minutes at 180℃, skin-side up.
Spoon the crumb on prime.
Cook dinner for the subsequent 6 minutes at 200℃, skin-side up (for the crumb to be properly crisp).
This being hen, it accommodates fats, so some can have collected on the backside of the basket. Rigorously pour this fats off and spoon somewhat of it over the tops of the thighs.
