BETHESDA, MD — A brand new gluten-free bakery has opened in downtown Bethesda.
Josephine Gluten-Free Bakery, at 4927-A St. Elmo Avenue, offers a wide range of gluten-free products, Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported Sunday.
The bakery, owned by Jean Charles, is called after his daughter, Josephine. Charles, who’s from France, determined to open a gluten-free bakery due to his spouse’s gluten intolerance, in response to the bakery’s website.
“Jean Charles’s earlier expertise working as a retailer supervisor in a bakery led him to query why it was so tough to search out tasty recent treats to-go for these with celiac illness or gluten sensitivity,” the web site says. “That is why JOSEPHINE GF engages and focuses on constructing a heat and welcoming place that provides tasty delicacies for the gluten-free neighborhood and past.”
