Now that Summer is on the horizon, celebrate the Glenelg foreshore as it transforms into the ultimate seaside location in the spirit of the welcomed warmer weather.

The Mix 102.3 Giant Wheel is making its return for the fifth year to the iconic Moseley Square this Friday, October 28, kicking off the impending summertime fun with a bang. Marvel at Glenelg’s enviable beach from above as the sun sets over the sea.

The Ferris Wheel will be staying in Moseley Square until May next year, so there’s plenty of sky-high summertime fun to enjoy. The iconic ride is the tallest portable Ferris Wheel in Australia, standing 35 metres high in Glenelg. Tickets cost $15 for individuals 13 years and over, with children 12 and under ride for $10.

Although, the Ferris Wheel won’t be the only attraction coming to Glenelg in the coming days. The inaugural, Sea to Shore seafood festival, will take place on Saturday, October 29 for a day of indulgence where guests can immerse themselves in delicious, curated seafood dishes and South Australian wine and gin, whilst overlooking the blue waters of one of SA’s favourite coastal destinations.

From 11 am, the Glenelg foreshore will be transformed into a harbourside boat club, which will host a number of producers and chefs, each displaying theatrics of wild cooking alongside showcasing delicious seafood dishes.
