Fall is my favourite time of the 12 months.  I really like consolation meals within the fall.  You recognize, these one pot meals that make you’re feeling cozy and heat.

1 lb. Kielbasa sausage

4 cups water

  Slice sausage as thick or as skinny as you want. Add all elements to a big pot and produce

to a boil.  Cut back warmth and simmer 1 to 2 hours.

Hen Taco Crockpot Soup

3 frozen hen breasts recent

1 medium onion diced

1 packet of taco seasoning

1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning decrease sodium if attainable

Don’t drain

1 can of crimson kidney beans (low sodium)

1 can of white beans (low sodium)

1 can of black beans

1 can of vegetarian baked beans

1 can of rotel

1 can of corn (no salt added)

  Put elements so as and don’t stir till completed

Add to crock pot

Add every can above and don’t drain or rinse – that’s what makes the soup.

Cook dinner in crockpot on low for 6-8 hours (relying on crockpot)

Earlier than serving, take every hen breast out and shred with 2 forks after which re-add all meat to crock pot

Add hen broth if wanted.

Bacon Spaghetti 

5 slices bacon

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes

8 ounces spaghetti

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley

salt and pepper to style

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

  In a big skillet over medium warmth, cook dinner bacon till crisp. Take away from pan, break into 1/2 inch items, and put aside. Drain bacon grease, and return pan to warmth. Bitter Cream

 

  In a big skillet, cook dinner onion in oil for 4 minutes or till clear. Add chilies, flour and cumin; cook dinner and stir for two minutes. Add beans and hen broth; deliver to a boil. Cut back Warmth and simmer for 10 minutes or till thickened. Add hen; cook dinner till scorching.  Garnish with cheese, bitter cream and salsa.

 

I cook dinner the onions as directed within the recipe after which add the onion flour combination to the whole lot in a crock pot and maintain it on low (from lunch time until time for supper, it’s excellent).
