After consuming Walter’s Hot Dogs (in Mamaroneck, New York), I’ve realized I have been cooking them unsuitable my entire like. Griddling them provides a lot extra taste and texture.

Preparation

1.

Preheat a griddle over excessive warmth. Brush the grill with a skinny coating of butter.

2.

Cut up the recent canine about 3/4 of the best way, lengthwise.

3.

Place the recent canine split-side down onto the grill, weighing it down with a press. Prepare dinner till caramelized, about 2 minutes, flip and cook dinner 2 minutes extra.

4.

Add 2 griddled canine to every bun and prime with sauerkraut, relish and spicy mustard.
