EJ’s Bayfront Café, the favored breakfast/lunch/brunch vacation spot in Bayfront Place, is taking its act on the highway.

Proprietor Eric Becker is taking up the previous Meridian Café, positioned eight miles northeast in Meridian Market on Pine Ridge Street. Becker is a classically educated chef who graduated from Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts in St. Louis. He labored in nation golf equipment and was a accomplice at Eli’s Restaurant & Lounge in Carlyle, Illinois, earlier than opening EJ’s Bayfront Café in 2012. His menu concentrates on traditional morning fare: omelets, benedicts, scrambles and skillets, complemented by plenty of vegetarian and vegan decisions.

EJ’s serves 450 to 500 diners per day in season.
