Shreveport, LA – Wanda Darkish Allen met her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Thursday, March 17, 2022. A celebration of her life might be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Dwelling, 1815 Marshall Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana. Born and raised in Jonesboro, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Joe and Etta Darkish. Wanda attended Jonesboro-Hodge Excessive Faculty and graduated from Spencer Draughn Enterprise School. Later, she attended Louisiana State College in Shreveport and have become accredited in actual property. In 1957 she married Bobby Allen and so they celebrated 64 years of marriage final August. She and Bobby cherished fishing and the water and have been lucky sufficient to reside the final 28 years on stunning Cross Lake in Shreveport.

Nonna spent hours sharing her love of fishing with every of her grandchildren, a ardour of hers since childhood. She and Papaw entertained their associates, their kids’s associates and grandchildren on the lake. She is survived by 4 kids, Ray Allen of Tyler, Texas, Lisa Hargrove of Shreveport, Jody Allen and spouse, Kayla of Bullard, Texas, and Kayla Lescure and husband, Stéphane of Malibu, California; grandchildren, Luke Allen, Abby Allen, Lauren Etier and husband, Brian, Clyde Hargrove III and spouse, Rebecca, Billy Hargrove and spouse, Kelly, Mae O’Brien and husband, Whit, Lizzie Allen, Will Allen and fiancée, Laura Bassel, Jake Allen, Julien Lescure, Mia Lescure, Romy Lescure; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Velma Darkish of Jonesboro, Louisiana; in addition to quite a few nieces, nephews and cousins.

Honoring Nonna as pallbearers might be her grandsons and sons-in-law.
