TAWAS CITY – MSU Extension and MyMichigan Well being have partnered to supply programming to low-income residents in Arenac, Gladwin, Iosco, Ogemaw, Oscoda and Roscommon counties.
Contributors ages 18 and older can earn as much as $60 in vegatables and fruits for finishing the category, and people with excellent attendance will qualify for a free gradual cooker.
The Cooking for One (or Two) class reminds those that cooking for a small family might be easy and fulfilling. Contributors obtain and focus on actual recipes and study useful ideas for making wholesome decisions.
This collection will run from Jan. 26 via March 2. Amidst the continuing pandemic, contributors can have the selection of attending in-person on Wednesdays, 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Willow Creek Flats in Standish, or by cellphone or Zoom on Thursdays, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The teacher, Melissa Prohaska of MSU Extension, will join with every registrant to know their attendance desire.
