4 methods to prepare dinner rooster breasts

Pan-frying

Scale back warmth to medium-low. Flip rooster. Cook dinner, coated with a lid, till backside of rooster is golden-brown and cooked via, about 7 min.

Poaching
Boil 4 cups salted water or rooster broth in a big saucepan. Scale back warmth to medium. Add rooster breasts. Gently poach, flipping midway, till cooked via, 8 to 10 min.

Roasting
Season rooster with salt and pepper. Warmth a big ovenproof frying pan over medium-high. Add 1 tbsp oil after which rooster breasts. Cook dinner till simply golden-brown, about 2 min per aspect. Switch pan to a 450F oven. Roast till rooster is cooked via, 10 to 12 min. (When you don’t have an ovenproof pan, switch rooster to a baking sheet.)

Grilling
Preheat barbecue to medium. Brush rooster with 1 tbsp oil and season with salt and pepper. Oil grill. Barbecue rooster till grill-marked and cooked via, 5 to six min per aspect.
