Properly, we made it, and I don’t assume I’ve ever been so prepared for soccer season and all that entails! For me, it’s cooler temperatures, visiting with family and friends with a recreation within the background and libations flowing, and good meals!

For our first recreation and first “Shark Snacks” of the 2021 season, I’ve chosen a straightforward, eye-catching crockpot recipe that can be utilized for sandwiches OR served by itself as a dip. This dish places the HOT in Hotty Toddy!

Crockpot Buffalo Rooster (sandwiches OR dip!)

  • 3 boneless skinless hen breasts (2 lbs-ish)
  • 1 12 Oz bottle of Frank’s Crimson Scorching Wing sauce
  • 1 8 Oz bar of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese OR Ranch dressing
  • Hawaiian bread buns

Pour all components in a crockpot, and cook dinner low for 7-8 hours OR excessive for 4-5 hours. Shred the hen with forks. Serve on Hawaiian bread buns, and prime with ranch or blue cheese dressing and blue cheese crumbles. May also use Fritos scoops or veggies for dipping. Serves 6-8.
