This recipe works effectively to enhance some grilled shrimp or fish.
You’ll Want
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 4 medium carrots, peeled, chopped
- 2 giant purple bell peppers, chopped
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 cups long-grain white rice
- 6 ¾ cups hen or vegetable broth
- ½ cup chopped inexperienced onions
- 2/3 cup chopped recent cilantro
- Salt and pepper to style
- Diced tomato
Instructions
- Soften butter in heavy, giant pot over medium-high warmth.
- Add the following 4 components; sauté 5 minutes.
- Add rice; stir for two minutes.
- Add broth; carry to boil.
- Scale back warmth to low, cowl and prepare dinner till rice is tender, about 20 minutes.
- Combine within the inexperienced onions and cilantro.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with diced tomato
